What is a Civic Association?
Unlike an HOA, a Civic Association is dedicated to building community rather than enforcing rules. While HOAs are mandatory and focused on regulation, Southwind Civic Association is non-regulatory and 100% voluntary.
We are run entirely by neighbors and funded by nominal annual dues. These funds go directly toward community events like our clean-up drives, holiday festivals, and social gatherings.
Your Voice in the City: Southwind is a member of CENCON (Centennial Council of Neighborhoods). Through this partnership, we serve as a direct link to the City of Centennial, bringing important updates back to residents and advocating for our community's specific needs.
In short, we are the heartbeat of the neighborhood. Your participation allows us to maintain our traditions and ensure Southwind remains a vibrant, connected place to call home.
Southwind Civic Association is a volunteer-run community organization that was originally formed in 1960. Our mission is to provide a safe and vibrant community where neighbors feel welcome, respected, and valued. We do this by hosting fun activities year-round and creating opportunities for all neighbors to connect and thrive.
To be a vibrant and connected community where every neighbor feels welcome, valued, and safe.
